Even a child wouldn’t have made that mistake. Electric are for puffs, get an I/C engine.

dude that sucks thats not even a funny crash. i was just tired of watchin me crash my planes so youtube is great for that. lol

if you run the recommended engines, they get kinda swirly when slow. alot of time the manufactureres set the CG’s a little too far back and they’ss tip stall on final. If you run the CG around the 30% MAC mark you should be fine.

i have this same exact plane… just with a .75 in it. its a dream to fly, and as far a i can tell doesn’t really have any huge downfalls

Im planning on getting a 60. size p51…I have been warned that they can be very difficult to fly. What are some heads ups on how not to fly it (like turning it to slow downwind)
#7 by wellington53 on December 25th, 2009 - 4:33 pm
It was completely my own fault, turning too slow downwind and she lost her lift.

#17 by smoothb10 on December 25th, 2009 - 9:05 pm

#18 by wellington53 on December 25th, 2009 - 10:00 pm
I was just mucking about ramming those batteries in but after my mate turned off his camera I just plugged them in! All that happened was I trned too slowly with too lower altitude.
#19 by imadrunkenbum on December 25th, 2009 - 10:23 pm
When you ram the batteries in there it doesnt look like you actualy connect them to anything…are you shore the crash wasnt due to a power failure…if you cant repair it theres allways a job at BA waiting for you m8

The $110 was just for the plane itself, the electrics costs about $300. The radio cost about $100 and is used to fly a bunch of other models.
#21 by imadrunkenbum on December 25th, 2009 - 11:51 pm
Was that $110 including everything you need besides the controler ie all the electrics or is that the basic shell?
#22 by wellington53 on December 25th, 2009 - 11:55 pm
Well Glen, I just got a new one for $110 including postage. All the electric stuff is OK so it won’t take long to build.
